About Me

As the founder and lead architect of ZRP Architects, I bring a wealth of experience and an unwavering passion for innovative design solutions to every project. With over two decades of industry expertise and a background in architecture from the esteemed Universities of Liverpool and Westminster, I've honed my skills at top firms such as KKA Architects and SOM, and served as a director at Hutchinson Studio, where I specialized in new interventions and adaptations to Grade 1 Listed churches.

My greatest strength lies in my ability to forge deep connections with clients and develop bespoke, tailored solutions to improve their lives. I take a holistic approach, getting to know my clients personally and understanding how they live, which allows me to create spaces that are perfectly suited to their current and future needs. My residential design philosophy is grounded in a profound understanding of the ergonomics and dynamics of our clients' lifestyles. I am also passionate about designing safe, engaging, and challenging environments that foster children's learning experiences and positively impact their overall well-being.

But I am more than just an architect; I am a "people person" who believes in fostering personal connections with clients. My approachable, friendly, and down-to-earth demeanour allows me to develop a deep understanding of their needs and aspirations, ensuring that every design decision is made with their best interests in mind.

Outside of work, I am a family man. I am blessed to have a wonderful, creative wife, and two exceptional children, who are now in their early to mid-teens. In my spare time, I enjoy music, sports, and coaching my son's U12 rugby team as part of Saracens ARFC.

Ultimately, my passion for design and love of people inspires me to create spaces that enhance people's lives. Whether I am working on a large commercial project or a small residential renovation, I pour my heart and soul into improving the spaces people inhabit.
